President Pezeshkian Praises National Unity Against External Threats

Tehran, The Gulf Observer: President Masoud Pezeshkian has lauded the unity and integration demonstrated by the Iranian people in the face of external threats, describing it as a source of strength and resilience for the nation.

Addressing a gathering of Iranian expatriates in the United States, Pezeshkian said the Israeli regime had mistakenly assumed that the people would support its aggression against Iran. “Not only did this fail to materialize, but even those with grievances stood by the Islamic System and the country. Today, we witness a high level of national integration,” he noted.

The President highlighted the pride with which Iranian youth represent their country on the global stage. “In all international events, they respect Iran’s flag and sing the national anthem with pride,” he remarked.

Pezeshkian stressed that sanctions and pressure, rather than weakening the country, have contributed to strengthening its determination. “The enemy assumes it can create problems for Iran through sanctions and snapbacks, but such challenges only make our nation stronger and more resilient,” he said.

Underscoring Iran’s peaceful stance, the President reiterated that the country seeks no confrontation. “Iran has no quarrel with anyone, but it will not surrender to pressure and sanctions either,” he stated.

On regional diplomacy, Pezeshkian emphasized the government’s commitment to deepening ties with neighboring countries. “By expanding cooperation with our 17 neighbors, Iran can effectively neutralize the impact of sanctions,” he concluded.
