President Prabowo Inaugurates Ngoerah Sun Wellness and Aesthetic Center in Bali

Jakarta, The Gulf Observer: President Prabowo Subianto on Wednesday officially inaugurated the Ngoerah Sun Wellness and Aesthetic Center (NSWAC) in Denpasar, Bali, a state-of-the-art facility aimed at bolstering Indonesia’s healthcare capabilities and reducing the outflow of foreign exchange due to citizens seeking treatment abroad.
“This will help strengthen the national economy — not only by reducing spending overseas but also by attracting foreign patients to Indonesia,” President Prabowo stated during the ceremony, according to the Presidential Secretariat.
Describing the center as a major milestone in Indonesia’s healthcare development, Prabowo emphasized that NSWAC exemplifies the country’s growing ability to offer medical services that meet top international standards.
“With a facility like this, we hope Indonesian citizens in need of high-quality healthcare will no longer feel the need to travel abroad,” he remarked.
The President praised the advanced technology and global collaboration that went into establishing the center, noting its potential to elevate Indonesia’s reputation in the medical tourism sector. “The facilities are modern, the technology is cutting-edge, and it has already gained the attention of international patients. This is something we should all be proud of,” he added.
President Prabowo extended his sincere congratulations and appreciation to all stakeholders involved in the center’s development, calling NSWAC an important national asset.
Following the inauguration, the President toured the facility accompanied by I Wayan Sudhana, President Director of Prof. Ngoerah Hospital, and Nahla Shihab, General Manager of NSWAC. The tour included a detailed overview of the center’s services and infrastructure.
NSWAC, developed as part of Prof. Ngoerah Hospital’s expansion into the wellness and aesthetic sector, offers four core services:
- Comprehensive medical check-ups
- Aesthetic dentistry
- Dermaesthetic treatments
- Plastic surgery
Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin and senior officials from the Ministry of Health also attended the inauguration ceremony, marking the launch as a pivotal moment in advancing Indonesia’s medical innovation and health service accessibility.
