Jakarta, The Gulf Observer: Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto has expressed Indonesia’s full support for the 20-point Gaza peace plan initiated by US President Donald Trump, during the inaugural meeting of the Board of Peace held in Washington, DC, on Thursday.
Speaking in a video shared on the White House’s official YouTube channel, President Prabowo said Indonesia had thoroughly studied President Trump’s proposal and was fully committed to its implementation.
“From the first day we studied President Trump’s 20-point plan, we completely agreed and are fully committed to it. That is why we joined the Board of Peace,” he stated.
President Prabowo acknowledged that implementing the comprehensive peace framework would not be without challenges, emphasizing that various obstacles and complexities are likely to arise during the process. However, he expressed strong confidence in the leadership behind the initiative.
“We know there will be many obstacles and difficulties. But we are very optimistic that under President Trump’s leadership, this vision of real peace will be achieved. There will be problems, but we will prevail,” he said.
