President Serdar Berdimuhamedov Leads National Celebrations Marking Constitution and State Flag Day

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: President Serdar Berdimuhamedov of Turkmenistan led the national celebrations marking Constitution and State Flag Day, one of the country’s most significant patriotic observances. According to official Turkmen media, the main ceremonies took place in the capital, Ashgabat, at the Monument of the Constitution and the national flagpole.

The day’s events began with a solemn wreath-laying ceremony at the base of the Monument of the Constitution, a symbol of Turkmenistan’s statehood, sovereignty, and democratic foundations. President Berdimuhamedov paid tribute to the enduring values enshrined in the nation’s Constitution.

Following this, the President attended a ceremonial gathering at the national flagpole, where he also laid a wreath at its base, honoring the national flag as a symbol of unity and pride for the Turkmen people.

The ceremonies were attended by high-ranking officials, including the Chairman of the Mejlis (parliament), deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of ministries and government agencies, members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of public organizations, students, and residents of Ashgabat.

Festivities continued throughout the country with vibrant cultural programs, including concerts, traditional music and dance performances, and folk ensemble showcases, reflecting the rich heritage and patriotic spirit of the nation.
