President Serdar Berdimuhamedov Orders Humanitarian Aid to Iran, Pardons Prisoners for Laylat al-Qadr

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has signed a decree to send humanitarian aid to the people of the Islamic Republic of Iran, primarily children, as a gesture of friendship and brotherly relations between the two nations.
According to the Watan habarlary news program on Friday, the humanitarian assistance will include medicines, medical supplies, and other essential goods. The aid will be dispatched on behalf of the Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The decree was adopted in accordance with the long-standing traditions of the Turkmen people, which are rooted in the principles of friendship, good-neighborliness, and mutual support. The initiative also coincides with the holy month of Ramadan and the sacred Night of Power, Laylat al-Qadr.
In a separate decree, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov also ordered the pardon of convicted citizens in honor of Laylat al-Qadr, reflecting Turkmenistan’s commitment to humanitarian values and compassion during the holy month.
