Astana, The Gulf Observer: During a discussion initiated by the German side, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz addressed several practical issues related to bilateral relations, focusing on implementing agreements made during President Tokayev’s official visit to Berlin in September of last year, according to Akorda.
The leaders expressed satisfaction with the current dynamics of trade and economic cooperation, highlighting their mutual interest in strengthening business ties and pursuing joint investment projects.
In addition to bilateral issues, Tokayev and Scholz exchanged views on pressing regional and global matters, emphasizing the importance of coordinating their countries’ efforts on the international stage. They underscored the significance of the upcoming high-level meetings in the Central Asia-Germany format, set to take place in Astana, in furthering these cooperative efforts.
