President Tokayev Congratulates Nation on National Day of Dombra

Astana, The Gulf Observer: President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev extended his congratulations to the people of Kazakhstan on the National Day of Dombra, as reported by media.

In a congratulatory message published on X, President Tokayev highlighted the dombra’s significance in the spiritual life of the Kazakh people.

“Dombra has become an integral element of the Great Steppe civilization. Our common duty is to preserve this cultural asset. Let the melody of dombra sound in each house!” the message read.

The National Day of Dombra, established by presidential decree in 2018, is celebrated annually on the first Sunday of July. The celebration aims to preserve and revive Kazakhstan’s national culture and identity.
