President Tokayev Directs Prime Minister to Submit Detailed Plan for Implementing Economic Reforms

Astana, The Gulf Observer: President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has instructed Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov to prepare and submit a detailed plan outlining concrete measures for the implementation of the Government’s economic reform program aimed at promoting the public good, Presidential Aide and Press Secretary Ruslan Zheldibay reported.
According to the directive, the Head of State tasked the Prime Minister with submitting the comprehensive plan by the end of the workweek to ensure the effective and timely execution of the economic reform initiatives developed by the Government in the national interest.
President Tokayev emphasized that the Government must introduce necessary amendments and take decisive steps to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), improve the investment climate, and stabilize the national economy.
He underlined that the key parameters of the Government’s economic policy are fully aligned with Kazakhstan’s strategic priorities, while also reflecting global market dynamics and modern economic trends.
