President Tokayev Discusses Strengthening Bilateral Ties with Amir of Qatar

Astana, The Gulf Observer: President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a phone conversation with the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, according to reports from Akorda.

During the conversation, the two leaders discussed the current state and future prospects of enhancing bilateral cooperation across various domains, including trade and economic, investment, and cultural and humanitarian sectors. Special emphasis was placed on the effective implementation of the agreements reached during President Tokayev’s state visit to Qatar in February this year.

Both Heads of State expressed satisfaction with the positive dynamics in Kazakh-Qatari relations and reaffirmed their mutual commitment to further enhancing multifaceted cooperation between their nations.

President Tokayev also expressed his hope to meet the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, at the upcoming SCO Summit in Astana.
