President Tokayev extends congratulations to Kyrgyzstan on 20 years of strong allied relations

Astana, The Gulf Observer: President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated his Kyrgyz counterpart Sadyr Zhaparov on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Treaty of allied relations between the two countries, according to the Akorda press service.

In his congratulatory message, President Tokayev noted that the 2003 treaty heralded the new stage in the development of the Kazakh-Kyrgyz relations laying the solid legal framework for multifaceted interstate ties.

This, according to Tokayev, is evidenced by an active political dialogue at all levels, dynamic development of trade and economic and cultural and humanitarian cooperation as well as close interaction of the two nations at the international arena.

In conclusion, the Kazakh President expressed confidence that strategic partnership and alliance will be further strengthened through joint efforts and vast potential of the bilateral interaction will be implemented for the benefit of the peoples of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
