President Tokayev Extends Heartfelt Congratulations to Citizens on Family Day

Astana, The Gulf Observer: President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has extended warm congratulations to the people of Kazakhstan on the occasion of Family Day, underscoring the significance of the holiday in uniting the nation around enduring values such as kindness, care, mutual support, and civic responsibility, the Akorda press service reported.

“For our people, family is a sacred concept. It plays a decisive role in shaping a person’s identity and citizenship. It is within the family that the first seeds of patriotism, diligence, knowledge, and culture are sown,” the President’s message read.

He stressed the need to protect, strengthen, and promote family values rooted in the ancient traditions of the Kazakh people while embracing modern progressive views on life.

Highlighting the central role of parents, Tokayev paid special tribute to mothers, describing them as the enduring backbone of the family. “‘Ana—Zher-Ana’ (Mother—Mother Earth) — mothers are truly at the heart of human civilization,” he said, adding that fathers also deserve deep respect for their hard work and noble deeds.

The Head of State emphasized that harmony within families is a key factor in ensuring the steady progress of the nation and the building of a Just and Strong Kazakhstan. For this reason, he noted, the state attaches great importance to promoting family values and ensuring legal protection for mothers and children.
