President Tokayev Highlights Kazakhstan’s Efforts to Establish Academic Hub at “Connected-2024” Conference
Astana, The Gulf Observer: Kazakhstan is making significant strides toward creating an academic hub in collaboration with leading international universities, according to a message from President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev delivered to participants of the “Connected-2024” conference. The message was read out by Vice Prime Minister Tamara Duissenova, NHC reports.
In his address, President Tokayev acknowledged the global challenges posed by the rapid advancement of new technologies, artificial intelligence, climate change, and energy concerns. He emphasized the importance of international cooperation in education, science, and innovation to ensure comprehensive and sustainable development.
“Kazakhstan is actively engaged in the creation of an academic hub in collaboration with the world’s prestigious higher education institutions,” the President stated, highlighting the country’s commitment to boosting its scientific and innovative potential.
He further expressed confidence that the “Connected-2024” conference, currently underway in Astana, will contribute to achieving this goal by fostering international collaboration among scholars and experts, while exploring new approaches to education and human capital development.
The conference, which focuses on education, science, innovation, digitalization, and ecology, has attracted 300 renowned experts from 60 countries. The event is expected to serve as a platform for addressing key global issues and strengthening international ties in the fields of knowledge and innovation.
