President Tokayev Participates in Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week and Zayed Sustainability Prize Ceremony

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan attended the opening ceremony of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW) and the Zayed Sustainability Prize awards ceremony, as reported by the Akorda press service.

The event, held under the patronage of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, was attended by notable world leaders, including President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim of Malaysia, along with politicians, investors, and entrepreneurs.

President Tokayev is scheduled to address the ADSW Summit under the theme “The Nexus of Next: Supercharging Sustainable Progress,” underscoring Kazakhstan’s commitment to global sustainable development and climate change mitigation.

The ADSW is recognized as a premier platform for addressing sustainability challenges and fostering international collaboration. The 2025 edition of ADSW, organized under the patronage of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has convened 13 heads of state, over 140 ministers, and numerous business and technology leaders to explore pathways for a $10 trillion economic transformation through sustainable and technological progress.

This participation reflects Kazakhstan’s active engagement in global sustainability initiatives and its dedication to fostering innovative solutions for a greener future.
