President Tokayev to Attend Informal Summit of the Organization of Turkic States in Budapest

Astana, The Gulf Observer: President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is scheduled to visit Hungary on May 20–21 to participate in the Informal Summit of the Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), according to media reports.
The summit, set to take place in Budapest, will be hosted by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. It marks a historic first, as it will be the inaugural time an OTS Informal Summit is held in an observer country.
The gathering will bring together the Presidents of the OTS Member States—Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Türkiye, and Uzbekistan—as well as representatives from OTS Observer States and the Secretary General of the Organization.
The Informal Summit will provide an important platform for Turkic leaders to exchange views on regional and international developments, strengthen political and economic cooperation, and deepen cultural and historical ties among member and observer states.
President Tokayev’s participation reflects Kazakhstan’s continued commitment to regional integration and collaboration within the Turkic world, and his visit is expected to contribute to reinforcing the strategic goals of the OTS.
