President Xi Bestows Promotion Orders, Elevating Military Officers to General Rank

Beijing, The Gulf Observer: Chinese President Xi Jinping, also Chairman of the Central Military Commission (CMC), presided over a ceremony on Thursday to present certificates of order promoting two military officers to the esteemed rank of general.
The two officers honored with this significant promotion are Wang Renhua, the Secretary of the Commission for Political and Legal Affairs of the CMC, and Xiao Tianliang, the President of the University of National Defense.
Vice Chairman of the CMC, Zhang Youxia, formally announced the order of promotion, which was signed by President Xi Jinping himself. The ceremony was overseen by CMC Vice Chairman He Weidong.
President Xi Jinping conveyed his heartfelt congratulations to the newly promoted officers, recognizing their dedication and contributions to the nation’s defense. Following the presentation of certificates, President Xi, along with other leaders, participated in group photographs to commemorate the occasion.
The rank of general is the highest position attainable for officers in active service within the Chinese military hierarchy, signifying exceptional leadership and responsibility.
