Presidents of Uzbekistan and Russia Hold Telephone Talks

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin to extend warm congratulations on the occasion of Russia Day, the national holiday of the Russian Federation.
President Mirziyoyev conveyed heartfelt greetings to President Putin and the multinational people of Russia, wishing continued peace, prosperity, and progress.
During the conversation, the two leaders discussed further strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance between Uzbekistan and Russia. They reviewed the progress of multifaceted cooperation, particularly the implementation of agreements reached during recent high-level meetings.
Special attention was given to adopting coordinated measures aimed at maintaining the positive momentum of mutual trade and advancing joint industrial cooperation projects. Both sides underscored the importance of promoting regional-level engagement and ensuring practical collaboration between the two nations’ local administrations and enterprises.
The leaders also expressed deep satisfaction with the cultural exchanges and events regularly held in both Uzbekistan and Russia, highlighting their vital role in enhancing mutual understanding and people-to-people ties.
