Prime Minister Chính to Attend 15th WEF Annual Meeting
Hanoi, The Gulf Observer: Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính will attend the 15th World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting of the New Champions, scheduled to be held in Dalian City, Liaoning Province, China. The event, which will feature working sessions from June 24 to June 27, aims to foster dialogue and cooperation on global economic issues.
The Foreign Ministry confirmed that Prime Minister Chính’s participation comes at the invitation of Chinese Premier Li Qiang and WEF Founder and Executive Chairman Klaus Schwab. This invitation underscores the collaborative spirit and ongoing diplomatic engagement between Vietnam, China, and the WEF.
The 15th WEF Annual Meeting of the New Champions, also known as the Summer Davos, will gather leaders from various sectors including politics, business, academia, and civil society to discuss pressing economic challenges and explore innovative solutions for sustainable development. Prime Minister Chính’s attendance highlights Vietnam’s active role in global economic discussions and its commitment to fostering international partnerships.
During his visit, Prime Minister Chính is expected to engage in high-level meetings and discussions, further strengthening Vietnam’s bilateral relations with China and its strategic cooperation with the WEF. The outcomes of these engagements are anticipated to contribute significantly to Vietnam’s economic agenda and its broader regional and global economic objectives.
