Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Highlights Strong Pakistan–Azerbaijan Brotherhood at Zayed Award Ceremony

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed the deep-rooted brotherly ties between Pakistan and Azerbaijan, underscoring their shared commitment to global peace, prosperity, and sustainable development.

In his video address at the awarding ceremony of the Zayed Award for Human Fraternity, the prime minister said that Pakistan and Azerbaijan are bound by an enduring relationship founded on mutual respect and common aspirations of their peoples. He described the bilateral ties as an abiding bond that reflects the collective desire of both nations to contribute positively to regional and global stability.

The prime minister also lauded Azerbaijan’s progress under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, praising his wise and dynamic stewardship. He noted that Azerbaijan’s achievements stand as a testament to visionary leadership and national resilience.

Highlighting Pakistan’s consistent support for peace initiatives, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistan, as a steadfast advocate of peace and stability in the Caucasus and beyond, has welcomed recent developments as a harbinger of a new era of prosperity and lasting peace. He emphasized that such progress would benefit not only Azerbaijan and Armenia but also the wider region.

The prime minister reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening its fraternal relations with Azerbaijan and supporting efforts aimed at fostering dialogue, harmony, and sustainable development at regional and international levels.
