Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: Upon his arrival in Tashkent, the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, accompanied by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov, visited the New Uzbekistan Park.

As a gesture of respect, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif laid flowers at the Independence Monument. During a brief tour of the complex, the Pakistani delegation was provided with detailed insights into the monument’s symbolic images and the historical events they represent.

The main events of the visit are scheduled for tomorrow, February 26, when high-level negotiations will take place between the leaders of the two nations. The agenda will focus on the further development and expansion of the strategic partnership and multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Pakistan.

Additionally, discussions will include an exchange of views on pressing international and regional issues. The summit is expected to conclude with the adoption of a Joint Declaration and several bilateral agreements, further strengthening the ties between the two countries.
