Promoting Azerbaijan’s Tourism: Event Showcases Opportunities in Aktau
Aktau, The Gulf Observer: In a collaborative effort, the Azerbaijan Trade House and the Consulate General of Azerbaijan organized an event in Aktau centered around the theme “Azerbaijan’s tourism opportunities,” as reported by Azerbaijani media.
Aze Turizm Company, the Naftalan Medical and Health Centre, and the Naftalan City Executive took the stage to present and highlight the diverse tourism offerings of Azerbaijan.
Consul General of Azerbaijan in Aktau, Elchin Mammadov, welcomed the guests and emphasized the significance of such events in fostering bilateral and regional relations within the tourism sector. He underscored the flourishing relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan across various domains, expressing appreciation for the support in tourism development.
Mammadov shed light on Azerbaijan’s commitment to the tourism industry, providing insights into state programs and projects aimed at enhancing the country’s tourism potential. Notably, he mentioned the substantial number of Kazakh tourists visiting Azerbaijan, showcasing the strong tourism ties between the two nations.
Rahim Sultanov, Head of the Azerbaijan Trading House, detailed the trading house’s activities, projects, and achievements. Mehpara Mammadova, Head of Aze Turizm Company, presented the diverse tourism opportunities that Azerbaijan has to offer.
The event also featured contributions from Director of the Naftalan Medical and Health Centre, Ilgar Huseynov, and the Head of the department of the Naftalan City Executive Power, Tamara Hasanova, who provided insights into the medical and health centers operating in Naftalan.
To provide a visual representation of Azerbaijan’s tourism potential, videos were showcased during the event. Attendees had the opportunity to immerse themselves in Azerbaijani culture through traditional dishes, and they were presented with national souvenirs and promotional materials.
The event served as a platform to strengthen cultural ties and promote Azerbaijan as an attractive destination, fostering mutual understanding and collaboration between the two nations.
