Putin to Hold Bilateral Talks with President Ilham Aliyev at Astana SCO Summit

Astana, The Gulf Observer: The President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, is scheduled to hold talks with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, at the upcoming Astana summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) on July 3. This announcement comes from Yuri Ushakov, the Aide to the President of Russia for Foreign Policy, as reported by TASS.

In addition to the meeting with President Aliyev, President Putin’s agenda includes bilateral meetings with the leaders of Türkiye, Mongolia, China, Pakistan, and Kazakhstan. Ushakov further stated that President Putin will also hold discussions with Mohammad Mokhber, the interim President of Iran.

The Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit will take place in Astana, Kazakhstan, from July 3 to July 4. The summit is expected to address various regional and international issues, enhancing cooperation among the member states.
