Qatar extends Ramadan Book Fair till April 9
Doha, The Gulf Observer: The second Ramadan Book Fair, which is being held at Darb Al Saai in Umm Salal, has been extended until April 9, 2023.
The event sought the participation of 79 publishing houses, of which 31 are local and 48 are international publishers, including from Saudi Arabia, Turkiye, Kuwait, Egypt, Jordan, United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Tunisia, Algeria, Canada, United Kingdom, and Australia.
The book fair will be open from 7pm to 12am at Darb Al Saai.
Aside from a vast array of books available for all, the fair also includes artistic and heritage activities, religious and cultural lectures and seminars, a Garangao night, various activities for children, a Bazaar tent, Children’s theatre, and storytelling sessions.
