Dushanbe, The Gulf Observer: A new landmark in Central Asia’s hospitality sector is set to emerge in 2026 as Radisson Hotel Group prepares to open the Radisson Collection Hotel in the heart of Dushanbe, marking the debut of its flagship premium brand in Tajikistan.

The project reflects Dushanbe’s growing role in international hospitality, architecture and service industries, further enhancing its appeal for investors, diplomats and global travelers.

Located on Roudaki Avenue, the city’s central artery, the hotel will be positioned near key government institutions, diplomatic missions and cultural landmarks, with convenient access to the international airport, the Palace of the Nation and the National Museum. The development will form part of a larger mixed-use complex featuring a luxury shopping centre and more than 150 premium residential apartments, creating a dynamic urban hub for both residents and visitors.

The 21-storey property will offer 205 rooms and suites with panoramic views of the city and surrounding mountains. Accommodation options will include junior suites, presidential suites and a royal suite tailored for high-level guests. The design will combine modern aesthetics with elements of Tajik cultural identity, incorporating natural materials and warm tones.

The hotel will feature a range of dining venues, including an all-day restaurant, a signature indoor-outdoor restaurant, a lobby bar and a rooftop restaurant with panoramic views. It will also offer over 1,200 square metres of event space, including a transformable ballroom and modern conference facilities suitable for international forums, business summits and diplomatic gatherings.

Wellness facilities will include a spa and fitness centre for guests, along with an additional spa complex open to the public.

According to David Jenkins, the project represents a significant milestone for the company’s expansion strategy.

“The hotel will become a new destination for discerning travelers, combining the elegance of Radisson Collection with the cultural richness of Tajikistan,” he said.

Scheduled to open in the first half of 2026, the hotel is expected to become a key hub for business and tourism in Dushanbe, supporting the city’s continued transformation into a modern international destination.
