Renowned Expert and Poet Muhammad Ali Pasha Visits National Library of Pakistan

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: On December 12, 2024, Mr. Muhammad Ali Pasha, an esteemed international expert and analyst on Central and Southeast Asia, as well as a renowned poet, visited the National Library of Pakistan. During his visit, Mr. Pasha presented his poetry collection titled Romantic Whispers of the Archipelago, a tribute to Indonesia’s beauty and culture, to the Director General of the National Library of Pakistan, Mr. Raja Javed Iqbal.

Mr. Iqbal praised Mr. Pasha’s contributions to literature and his efforts in strengthening the cultural and literary ties between Pakistan and Indonesia. He also highlighted the significance of the Indonesian Corner, a new initiative at the National Library of Pakistan, set to be inaugurated in February 2025. The Indonesian Corner will serve as a platform for promoting Indonesia’s literary and cultural heritage in Pakistan.

During the meeting, Mr. Pasha shared his enriching experience of visiting the National Library of Jakarta, emphasizing the importance of cultural exchanges and literary initiatives in fostering global understanding.

This visit marks another step in the growing collaboration between Pakistan and Indonesia in the fields of literature and culture.
