RIHS signs MoU with AMI to enhance Health infrastructure and accessibility
Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: Chairman Rawal Institute of Health Sciences (RIHS) and Candidate NA-48 Islamabad, Mr. Khaqan Waheed Khawaja, has inked a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Chairman Aman Medical Institute (AMI) Islamabad, Mr. Arifullah Khan. This landmark agreement is a step forward to revolutionize healthcare accessibility, promote robust health infrastructures, and accelerate the achievement of SDG 3: Good Health and Wellbeing.
The MoU encompasses various aspects, including the provision of clinical skills, top-tier technical and practical training, and internships necessary for health professionals. It also focuses on introducing cutting-edge emerging technologies in the health sector and fostering an internationalized skill development program in collaborative areas of interest.
Mr. Khaqan Waheed Khawaja articulated, “Our mission is to ensure accessible and affordable healthcare facilities for all individuals.” He highlighted the introduction of the Rawal Health Card System, enabling people to access free-of-cost health facilities. He further emphasized the Rawal Health Foundation’s initiatives, offering doorstep public health facilities in NA-48 through a people-centric committee system, aiming to achieve sustainable development goals.
Speaking about the future of medical education, Mr. Khawaja expressed, “We have devised a comprehensive plan to train medical professionals to meet the highest world standards, enhancing their prospects for international job opportunities.” He also underlined the introduction of language programs geared towards health professionals, facilitating job placements in Germany, Japan, and various Middle Eastern countries.
