Romanian Foreign Minister Meets Diaspora Community in Denmark

Copenhagen, The Gulf Observer: Following a visit to a Romanian-owned company in Copenhagen, Romania’s Foreign Minister, Oana Țoiu continued her engagement with the local Romanian community through an extended meeting held at the Embassy of Romania in the Kingdom of Denmark.
During the gathering, the minister expressed gratitude to the Romanians present for their honorable representation of the country abroad and for strengthening the bonds of friendship between Romania and Denmark.
The discussions focused on several key areas, including:
- Enhancing support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and ensuring easier access to essential consular services.
- Promoting the integration and protection of the rights of Romanians living in the diaspora.
- Supporting cultural and educational projects that help maintain the connection of the Romanian community abroad with the Romanian language and culture.
The minister extended her appreciation to Ambassador Anton Niculescu, Vice Consul Bogdan Timofte, and the embassy team for the well-organized event. She also thanked the large number of Romanians who traveled from various parts of Denmark to take part in the dialogue.
“After being inspired by the energy of our compatriots in Copenhagen, I now look forward to intense and open debates with my fellow EU foreign ministers at the Gymnich meeting later today,” the minister stated.
