Romanian Foreign Minister Oana Toiu Welcomes U.S. Initiative on Ukraine Peace Dialogue

Bucharest, The Gulf Observer: Romanian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Oana Toiu, has welcomed President Donald Trump’s invitation to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski for a meeting in Washington, describing it as a significant step toward advancing international peace efforts in Ukraine.

Minister Toiu expressed confidence in the ongoing developments within the international peace dialogue, reaffirming Romania’s strong belief that transatlantic unity and European solidarity remain central to building a future of lasting peace and security.

“Romania will continue to be an active participant in this joint effort,” the Minister stated, emphasizing that stability and security in the Black Sea region are crucial for both peace and sustainable economic growth.

Highlighting the vital role of the European Union, Minister Toiu noted that the involvement of European leaders has already helped shape the negotiation framework. She further stressed the importance of reinforcing multiple formats of dialogue and strengthening discussions on NATO’s eastern flank to secure regional stability.
