Saudi Arabia Begins Distribution of Over 2.5 Million Qur’an Copies to Hajj Pilgrims

Makkah, The Gulf Observer: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance has commenced the distribution of gifts of the Holy Qur’an from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to pilgrims performing Hajj this year.

The initiative began on Sunday and includes the allocation of 2,521,380 copies of the Holy Qur’an. These copies, printed by the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Qur’an in Madinah, are available in various sizes and include translations of the meanings of the Qur’an in multiple international languages, ensuring accessibility for pilgrims from diverse backgrounds and nationalities.

This generous gesture reflects the unwavering commitment of the Saudi leadership to the Holy Qur’an and to the well-being of pilgrims. The symbolic act of presenting the Qur’an as a parting gift exemplifies the Kingdom’s dedication to honoring pilgrims and providing them with spiritual guidance as they complete their sacred journey.

The distribution initiative underscores Saudi Arabia’s broader mission to offer exemplary services to Hajj pilgrims from the moment of their arrival in Makkah to their safe return home, reaffirming the Kingdom’s status as a custodian and servant of the Two Holy Mosques and the global Muslim community.
