Saudi Arabia’s FM and Blinken Discuss Gaza, Sudan, and Yemen
Riyadh, The Gulf Observer: Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, held a phone conversation with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Sunday to discuss efforts to end the ongoing conflict in Gaza and address developments in Sudan and Yemen. The Kingdom’s foreign ministry confirmed the details of the call.
The discussion took place as Secretary Blinken arrived in Israel as part of a Middle East tour focused on brokering a ceasefire in the Gaza conflict. During his visit to Israel, Blinken is scheduled to meet with senior Israeli officials, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, on Monday, according to a senior State Department official.
Following his engagements in Israel, Secretary Blinken is set to continue his diplomatic efforts in Egypt, seeking to build consensus on ending the violence and addressing the broader regional issues.
