Saudi Arabia’s Largest Industrial Region Seeks Stronger Cooperation with Kazakhstan

Dammam, The Gulf Observer: Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Saudi Arabia, Madiyar Menilbekov, engaged in a series of high-level meetings during his visit to the city of Dammam. The meetings included discussions with the Governor of the Eastern Province, Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdelaziz Al Saud, and the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Eastern Province, Bader S. AlReziza, as reported by the press service of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry.
During these meetings, Ambassador Menilbekov highlighted Kazakhstan’s robust investment opportunities and burgeoning tourism potential. He also outlined the ongoing political and socio-economic reforms in Kazakhstan, emphasizing the creation of favorable conditions for foreign investors.
A key topic of discussion was the upcoming 5th World Nomad Games, scheduled to take place in Astana from September 8-13, 2024. Ambassador Menilbekov shared details about this significant event, noting that representatives from dozens of countries will compete in 20 competitive and 10 demonstration sports, including horse races, national martial arts, traditional intellectual games, archery, national types of bird hunting, and folk games.
In addition, Ambassador Menilbekov extended an invitation to businessmen and major entrepreneurs from the region to participate in the 3rd meeting of the Kazakh-Saudi Business Council, set for July 29, 2024, in Almaty.
The discussions concluded with a mutual agreement to further expand cooperation between Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia, focusing on regional interaction and the organization of B2B meetings in trade, economic, and investment spheres. Both sides expressed their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations through continued dialogue and mutual visits.
