Saudi Crown Prince Hosts Prince William in Diriyah During Official Visit

Diriyah, The Gulf Observer: Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman on Monday evening received Prince William in Diriyah as part of the British royal’s official visit to the Kingdom.

During the meeting, the Crown Prince accompanied Prince William on a tour of Diriyah, the birthplace of the Saudi state and the capital of the First Saudi State. The visit included a walkthrough of the historic At-Turaif district, where Prince William was briefed on traditional Najdi architecture and viewed the palaces of the imams and rulers of the First Saudi State.

A commemorative photograph was taken in front of Salwa Palace, one of Diriyah’s most prominent landmarks and a former seat of governance.

The tour also featured a presentation on the Diriyah Gate master plan, outlining the project’s vision to preserve the area’s cultural heritage while transforming Diriyah into a global cultural and tourism destination.
