Saudi Crown Prince Hosts US House Armed Services Committee Chairman
Jeddah, The Gulf Observer: In a notable diplomatic engagement, Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman welcomed Chairman of the US House Armed Services Committee, Mike Rogers, to Jeddah, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency early Tuesday.
Accompanying Chairman Rogers were committee members Adam Smith, Salud Carbajal, and Veronica Escobar, comprising a high-level US delegation.
The meeting served as a platform to deliberate on bilateral relations and cooperation between Saudi Arabia and the United States, as well as to address issues of mutual interest to both nations.
Joining Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman were Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman, Saudi Ambassador to the US Princess Reema bint Bandar, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, and other senior officials from both Saudi Arabia and the United States.
