Washington, The Gulf Observer: Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman held a series of high-level meetings at the White House on Tuesday with senior United States officials to review strategic relations and discuss efforts to enhance cooperation between the two countries.

According to official statements, Prince Khalid met with US Secretary of State and Acting National Security Adviser Marco Rubio, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and US Special Envoy for the Middle East Steve Witkoff. The talks focused on reviewing the longstanding strategic partnership between Saudi Arabia and the United States and exploring prospects for further strengthening bilateral cooperation.

During the meetings, both sides also exchanged views on regional and international developments, underscoring their shared commitment to advancing peace and stability at the regional and global levels.

In a separate meeting in Washington, Prince Khalid met with US Senator Lindsey Graham. The discussions highlighted the enduring friendship and cooperation between the two countries, while also addressing regional and international issues and other matters of mutual interest.

The meetings reflect the continued close coordination between Riyadh and Washington on strategic, security and diplomatic issues amid evolving regional and global challenges.
