Saudi Energy Minister Holds Talks with Azerbaijan’s Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources on Climate Cooperation
Jeddah, The Gulf Observer: His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, Minister of Energy of Saudi Arabia, held a productive meeting with Mukhtar Babayev, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, and the President of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the UN’s Framework Convention on Climate Change.
The meeting, convened in Jeddah, provided a platform for constructive discussions on opportunities for collaboration in climate action between the two nations. Central to the deliberations were efforts to align strategies and initiatives with the objectives and principles outlined in the UN’s Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Paris Agreement.
