Saudi Foreign Minister Arrives in New York for 79th UN General Assembly

New York, The Gulf Observer: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan arrived in New York City on Friday, leading the Kingdom’s delegation to the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). The high-level delegation will participate in several official meetings, aiming to strengthen multilateral cooperation and address key regional and international developments.

During the General Assembly, Prince Faisal and the delegation will engage in discussions focused on global security, peace initiatives, and joint efforts to achieve the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These meetings highlight the Kingdom’s commitment to enhancing international cooperation and contributing to global stability.

The Saudi delegation includes Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Kingdom’s ambassador to the United States, alongside several key ministers. Among them are Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Adel Al-Jubeir, Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture Abdulrahman Alfadley, Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Alswaha, and Minister of Economy and Planning Faisal Alibrahim.

Additionally, Abdullah Al Rabeeah, supervisor-general of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), Deputy Minister for International Multilateral Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Rassi, and the Kingdom’s permanent representative to the UN, Abdulaziz Alwasil, are part of the delegation.

The Saudi delegation’s presence at UNGA reflects the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts to support global peace, security, and sustainable development on the international stage.
