The call comes in light of intensified Israeli attacks on Beirut’s southern suburbs and surrounding towns on Saturday. According to a report from Lebanon’s Higher Defense Council, the death toll from the recent violence has risen to 37 within the past 24 hours, with 151 individuals injured. This brings the total number of casualties in Lebanon since the onset of the confrontations to 2,011 deceased and 9,535 injured.
