Saudi Foreign minister meets Sudan’s special envoy
Riyadh, The Gulf Observer: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan received on Sunday Special Envoy of Sudan’s Transitional Sovereign Council’s President Ambassador Dafallah El Haj Ali in Riyadh.
During the meeting, they discussed the current situation in Sudan.
Prince Faisal affirmed the Kingdom’s call for calm, giving priority to the national interest, and stopping all forms of military escalation, which preserves the capabilities and gains of Sudan and its people.
The meeting was attended by the Assistant Minister of State for African Countries Affairs Ambassador Dr. Sami Al-Saleh.
Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia continues massive evacuation operation from Sudan by air and sea. The Kingdom has evacuated so far nearly 5,000 persons of 100 nationalities including over 100 Saudi citizens.
