Sayyid Badr and Palestinian Official Discuss Recent Developments

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: On Saturday, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Oman, received a phone call from Hussain Al Sheikh, Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization.
During their conversation, Sayyid Badr and Al Sheikh addressed the latest developments regarding the Arab movement on the international stage and discussed support for the Palestinian cause, including its membership in the United Nations. They also condemned the recent decision by the Israeli Knesset to hinder the establishment of a Palestinian state.
Both parties expressed their approval of the Beijing Declaration’s outcomes, which aim to achieve unity among Palestinian factions. The declaration affirms the importance of a unified Palestinian decision and the sovereignty of the Palestinian state over all its territories, including the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and East Jerusalem, as defined by the 1967 borders. Additionally, the declaration calls for the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from these territories.
