Second Regular Sessions of UNDP, UNFPA, and UNICEF Executive Boards Approve Country Programme Documents for Turkmenistan (2026–2030)

New York, The Gulf Observer: The second regular sessions of the Executive Boards of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) were held in New York from August 25 to September 5, 2025.
During the sessions, the country programme documents for Turkmenistan for the period 2026–2030 were officially adopted.
The concepts of these programmes were developed in close cooperation with the Turkmen side. According to the adopted documents, a range of projects and initiatives will be implemented in Turkmenistan over the next five years, in partnership with the country offices of UNDP, UNICEF, and UNFPA.
