Serdar Berdimuhamedov Arrives in Russia for CIS Council Meeting
Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: President Serdar Berdimuhamedov of Turkmenistan arrived in the Russian Federation on Monday for a two-day working visit to participate in the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), taking place in Moscow.
High-ranking officials bid farewell to President Berdimuhamedov at Ashgabat International Airport before his departure. Upon arrival in Moscow, the presidential plane landed at Vnukovo-2 Airport, where the President was received and escorted to his designated residence.
During the CIS Council meeting, the leaders are expected to engage in discussions regarding key areas of cooperation within the Commonwealth. The agenda will include outlining future work priorities and addressing pressing regional and international issues that impact member states.
This visit underscores Turkmenistan’s commitment to fostering collaboration and dialogue within the CIS framework, contributing to regional stability and development.
