Sharjah Consultative Council Hosts US Delegation, Strengthens Bilateral Ties
Sharjah, The Gulf Observer: Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) welcomed a distinguished delegation from the United States, led by Sam Hassoun, President and CEO of Global Leadership Alliance. The meeting, held at the council’s headquarters, was a platform for fostering economic, parliamentary, and cultural ties between Sharjah and the United States.
Dr. Abdullah Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Council, extended a warm welcome to the American delegation, emphasizing the significance of the meeting in further solidifying the growing relations between Sharjah and the United States. Highlighting the mutually beneficial partnership, he stressed Sharjah’s commitment to expanding collaborative and operational relationships with key global partners, including the U.S.
During the meeting, the delegation was introduced to Sharjah’s thriving economic landscape, its inviting investment climate, advanced infrastructure, progressive legislative framework, and vibrant cultural initiatives. Al Nuaimi underlined the Council’s dedication to propelling Sharjah’s sectors to new horizons, aligning with the emirate’s strategic economic diversification policy.
A significant part of the agenda involved a visit to Bee’ah Group, where the delegation received a comprehensive briefing on the organization’s pioneering integrated services and innovative solutions in environmental management, renewable energy, and technology. The guests were acquainted with Bee’ah’s projects and initiatives, both locally and internationally, focusing on environmental sustainability, renewable energy, and green mobility.
Dr. Al Nuaimi highlighted the Council’s commitment to sustainable development and environmental issues, underscoring its pivotal role in addressing climate change impacts and improving society’s quality of life. He emphasized the Council’s close monitoring of organizations involved in environmental matters, including Bee’ah Group.
