Shavkat Mirziyoyev Holds Telephone Conversation with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: On August 30, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko. President Mirziyoyev extended warm congratulations to President Lukashenko on the occasion of his anniversary, wishing him good health, great success, and continued prosperity for the friendly people of Belarus.
In response, President Lukashenko sincerely congratulated President Mirziyoyev and the people of Uzbekistan on the upcoming Independence Day, expressing his best wishes for peace, sustainable development, and progress in Uzbekistan.
The two leaders discussed the practical implementation of the agreements reached during President Lukashenko’s visit to Uzbekistan on February 7-9 of this year, in line with the adopted roadmap. Both leaders emphasized the importance of accelerating joint industrial cooperation projects and expanding cultural and humanitarian exchanges.
The conversation also highlighted the fruitful results of the recent visit to Uzbekistan by a delegation led by the Chairperson of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus, Natalia Kochanova. Both leaders expressed their commitment to further strengthening the strategic partnership between their countries, focusing on mutual benefit and development.
