Shavkat Mirziyoyev Receives Chinese Delegation to Strengthen Strategic Partnership
Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of the Republic of Uzbekistan met with a high-ranking delegation from the People’s Republic of China, led by Chen Min’er, a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Party Secretary of Tianjin. During the meeting, Chen Min’er conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from Chinese President Xi Jinping.
The discussions focused on enhancing the multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and China, particularly in light of the high-level agreements reached between the two nations. Both sides emphasized the importance of deepening interregional dialogue as a means of promoting practical collaboration.
The meeting highlighted the exceptional friendship and strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and China, which has reached unprecedented levels in recent years. Special attention was given to advancing cooperation in key sectors, including trade, industry, green energy, infrastructure modernization, agriculture, textiles, and pharmaceuticals, with a focus on projects led by prominent companies from Tianjin.
The two sides also underscored the significance of expanding programs in innovation, education, and cultural exchange, noting the mutual benefits of such initiatives. A key outcome of the meeting was the agreement to adopt a roadmap for strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and Tianjin, aimed at fostering mutually beneficial partnerships at the regional level.
