Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Visit Kuwait for Official Talks on February 17-18

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: At the invitation of the Amir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al Sabah, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, is set to embark on an official visit to Kuwait on February 17-18, 2025.

During the visit, bilateral high-level talks will be held in Kuwait City, where President Mirziyoyev will meet with the country’s leadership, government officials, and heads of major Kuwaiti companies and financial institutions. The discussions will center on furthering the friendship and multifaceted partnership between Uzbekistan and Kuwait.

Key topics on the agenda include expanding cooperation in several strategic areas such as trade, innovation, investment and finance, green energy, industrial collaboration, agriculture, transport and logistics, infrastructure, and healthcare. In addition, cultural, humanitarian, and tourism exchanges are expected to be a significant part of the discussions.

The leaders will also address pressing matters in international politics and regional cooperation, focusing on mutual goals and challenges. Following the talks, a series of joint documents and agreements are anticipated to be signed, marking the strengthening of ties between the two nations.
