Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Ties

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, held a telephone conversation with Yvette Cooper, Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom, to discuss bilateral relations and avenues for enhanced cooperation.
During the call, the two officials reviewed the longstanding ties between the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom and explored prospects for expanding collaboration across a range of sectors. Particular emphasis was placed on advancing economic cooperation and strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries.
The discussion also covered a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest. Both sides exchanged views on recent developments in the Middle East and underscored the importance of coordinated efforts to promote peace, security, and sustainable stability across the region.
