Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Meets Community Leaders, Extends New Year Greetings
Dubai, The Gulf Observer: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, met on Saturday at Zabeel Palace with a group of prominent figures, including business leaders, dignitaries, Sheikhs, members of the Federal National Council, traders, investors, ministers, and senior officials from government and semi-government entities.
The meeting underscored Sheikh Mohammed’s commitment to fostering positive engagement with diverse segments of society and strengthening strategic partnerships between the public and private sectors.
The gathering was attended by His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance; His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council; His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group; Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority; His Highness Sheikh Hasher bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Media Incorporated; and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Extending New Year greetings to those present, Sheikh Mohammed wished them a blessed and prosperous 2026. He stressed the importance of concerted efforts to uphold the values of optimism and hope, reinforce a culture of giving and collective responsibility, and further strengthen social stability, paving the way for greater prosperity for the UAE and its people.
The meeting also reflected Sheikh Mohammed’s continued support for initiatives aimed at enhancing community engagement and his close oversight of development efforts at various levels.
