Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Ranks Among World’s Top Landmarks in TripAdvisor 2025 Report

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque (SZGM) in Abu Dhabi has climbed two places to rank eighth among the world’s top 25 landmarks in TripAdvisor’s 2025 global report, retaining its position as the number one attraction in the Middle East.
The ranking, based on more than eight million reviews, places SZGM within the top one percent of global landmarks. It also reaffirms its role as a leading cultural tourism destination, attracting over seven million visitors annually and serving as a symbol of peaceful coexistence and Islamic heritage.
The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Fujairah also earned a place among the top 10 percent of global landmarks, following the recent launch of enhanced visitor services.
Dr. Yousif Al Obaidli, Director-General of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre, credited the achievement to the UAE’s visionary leadership and the centre’s strategic initiatives to enrich cultural and visitor experiences.
These accomplishments underscore SZGM’s status as a global hub for interfaith dialogue and cultural exchange, supported by state-of-the-art facilities, inclusive services, and immersive tours available in 14 languages, including sign language.
