Sultan of Oman Confers Medals on Sultan’s Special Force Personnel
Muscat, The Gulf Observer: In commemoration of Sultan’s Special Force (SSF) Day, observed annually on March 15th, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, has bestowed medals of Excellent Service and Royal Commendation upon several officers and non-commissioned officers of the SSF, recognizing their unwavering commitment and dedication to national service.
A ceremony marking this auspicious occasion was convened at the Assumood Garrison, where Major General Musallam Mohammed Ja’aboub, Commander of the SSF, presided over the presentation of medals. Maj. Gen. Ja’aboub personally adorned the honorees with the esteemed medals of Excellent Service and Royal Commendation, expressing gratitude for their exemplary service and steadfast devotion to safeguarding the nation.
In addition to the medals of Excellent Service and Royal Commendation, Maj. Gen. Ja’aboub also conferred the “Special Service Medal” and the “Medal of Long Service and Good Conduct” upon other deserving members of the Sultan’s Special Force, recognizing their enduring dedication and meritorious service to the country.
Addressing the honored personnel, Maj. Gen. Ja’aboub extended heartfelt congratulations and urged them to uphold their exceptional standards of performance, reaffirming their crucial role in upholding the nation’s security and well-being under the leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander.
