Supreme Leader Urges Iranian Parliament to Support New President Masoud Pezeshkian

Tehran, The Gulf Observer: Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has called on the Iranian parliament to engage in constructive interaction with the incoming administration of President-elect Masoud Pezeshkian. Speaking on Sunday during a meeting with members of the Majlis (the Iranian Parliament) in Tehran, Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized that the success of the new president is a collective success for all people and groups in Iran.

“My strong recommendation is the constructive interaction of the parliament with the new administration. The success of the president and the new administration is the success of all of us,” Ayatollah Khamenei stated.

He highlighted the importance of collective support to ensure the new president can effectively fulfill his responsibilities, particularly in managing the country’s economy, as well as addressing cultural and international issues. Ayatollah Khamenei underscored that the success of President-elect Pezeshkian should be deeply regarded as a victory for the entire nation.

“His victory is the victory of all of us. This should be believed deeply,” Ayatollah Khamenei stressed, urging the parliament to work collaboratively with the new administration for the greater good of the country.
