Tajik Ambassador, Pakistan’s Commerce Ministry Hold Talks on Expanding Trade and Food Security Cooperation

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: On 18 February 2026, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Pakistan held a meeting with Mr. Syed Hamid Ali, Special Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, to discuss avenues for strengthening bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting, both sides reviewed prospects for expanding collaboration in trade development, food security, and other areas of mutual interest. The discussions focused on enhancing commercial ties and identifying practical mechanisms to boost economic engagement between the two countries.
The parties expressed readiness to deepen cooperation through sector-specific programs, the implementation of joint projects, and the exchange of knowledge and expertise.
